When it rains, it pours

The old adage of "When it rains, it pours" came true for Chennai last week. The city and its suburbs were floating on a water bed, quite unheard of in Chennai. As mentioned in one of my earlier blogs, "Rainy Chennai" was always considered an oxymoron. But now its proving to be a natural phenomenon, so much so, that it might topple the fed govt in Tamil Nadu for not being able to manage the floods which touched disastrous proportions.
