Letter to Sunny
Dear Sunny
I agree with you completely when you recently described Australian cricketers as "unpopular winners because of their "aweful" on-field behaviour." Probably the Australians too will agree with you, though they might slam you for this comment.
But Sunny, at the end of the day, just like the corporate sector, you ned to deliver results. I have seen awful managers, who deliver results. The management is not bothered as long as they deliver numbers.
It's a similar situation in sports too. No one is bothered about the on-field behavior as long as they win matches. Look at the Indians and they don't seem to have aggression anywhere-both on and off-field. Australians after losing the No 1 slot to the Proteas, slammed them hard in their recent World Cup encounter. That's what you call aggression. Mauling the Proteas as if they were playing against Bangladesh and Bermuda.
Its nice to be a gentleman on the ground. But its best to be a match winner, which our guys dont seem to be.
