Dhoni's Men in Blue

Dhoni's trust in youngsters seems to have paid off. By storming into the finals of the T20 cricket finals, one thing is clear. India does not need a full time coach. Not just that, Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly will now have to fight to find a place in the team, which is great for Indian cricket. What is saddening is the likes of Rohit Sharma, Uthappa and Gambhir will have to sit in the benches to make way for the seniors. Even if India loses the finals, what is enouraging is that the India - Australia series is going to be worth every minute.

MK, Rama, Jesus and Allah

I fail to understand one aspect. If Karunanidhi does not believe in Rama and Ramayana, why does he have to be vocal about it and make statements that hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Will Karunanidhi ever comment about the existence of Gods of other religions. He will never do that for the cause of vote bank. Hindus and more so Brahmins, believe in taking everything lying down, and will never make an issue of it. And if one BJP does create a hue and cry, then they are termed communal and violent. Damn this politics and politicians.

PS: It seems the editorial of the latest issue of Cho-edited Tughlag seems to have ripped apart this ridiculous stance of Karunanidhi.
